When I was younger my mom, my sister and I would go to the Nutcracker at Capitol Theatre almost every year around Christmas time. It was one of my favorite Christmas traditions. I probably haven't been in 10 years or so. Now I have my own daughter to take to the Nutcracker (crazy!) I thought Avery would be the perfect age this year to really enjoy watching the ballet.
I got tickets for the day after Christmas so one of Avery's Christmas presents was a fancy dress to wear to the Nutcracker. She was so excited to put it on that she wore it most of Christmas day.
We had such a good time! We had seats up in the balcony so we could see everything perfectly. After the ballet was over I let Avery pick out a little prize and she picked this floral headband. She thought it was the prettiest thing ever! She danced around the theatre and all the way to the car. She had a magical day! I love that I have her to do all the girly stuff with!
