We rented the most beautiful home in Trinidad. It was on an acre of land with huge redwood trees surrounding the property. It was super secluded and we had an amazing view of the ocean. There was a huge grassy area out front and multiple times a day we would play soccer together as a family. One of my favorite memories of the trip. Avery and I explored the property one day and found this huge banana slug. It was so cool! Miss Sadie caught a nasty cold right before we left on our trip so she was pretty sick the whole time. She slept a ton! That was probably the hardest part of the trip. Waiting for Sadie to wake up so we could get outside and explore. One day we just couldn't wait any longer and woke her up. It was pretty sweet and she was so cute and sleepy. Landon's mission buddy grew up in Eureka which is super close to Trinidad so he told us about the coolest hike and secret beach. The hike was literally on the edge of a cliff the whole time and was so beautiful. It wasn't as dangerous as it sounds because there were a tone of reeds and bushes to keep us off the cliff edge. We got to the end of the hike and we were at the edge of the ocean. The views were incredible! On our way back we hiked down into a secret beach that was just amazing. We had the whole beach to ourselves and the sun was just setting. It was magical. Gosh this trip was just heaven.
