Valentine's day landed on a Sunday this year so that means we celebrated all weekend long! We first started the celebration with Miles Valentine's party on Thursday. He signed all his valentines with his cute little name and then got to pass them out to all his classmates. On Friday the big kids had their Valentine's parties. We were super busy Thursday night with scouts, gymnastics, getting ready for Jack's science fair presentation and we celebrated Owen's birthday, so the big kids didn't get their Valentine's ready until 9 pm! They were tired but still had fun signing all their cards.
Miss Aves looking so tired! She had her first private gymnastics lesson this night and she worked HARD! Her Valentine's were little eyeball rings that she thought her friends would love to play with.
I found these cute little all star valentine's for Jack and I new he would love them! They were a big hit!
Friday night we had a fun Valentine's Day dinner with chocolate covered strawberries, spaghetti carbonara, sparkling cider, chocolate roses and red velvet oreos for dessert. We went around the table and said things we loved about each other. It was a fun night!
On Sunday morning I made cinnamon swirl french toast and scrambled eggs for a yummy valentine's breakfast. Landon bought a gorgeous bouquet of roses for me and a cute little rose for his other Valentine, Avery. She loved it!
We also munched on fudge that we bought from the fudge guy on the side of the road in Alpine. It is sooooo good!
