some fun projects

I found these really cute really easy project on the Crafty Chicks blog that I love.

The first one was this easy tutorial on how to make a stroller cover for a baby doll stroller. Avery loves her little stroller but the cover is totally falling apart and doesn't even stay on the frame.  When I saw this cute fabric at Walmart the other day for $1.00 a yard I knew it would be perfect for her little stroller.  Avery loves the color purple and all I needed was half a yard and I was even able to double up the fabric to make it extra durable. This stroller is being used a lot more now!

The next project I did was a cute alphabet poster for Jack's room.  I have seen these cute digital print posters all over etsy but I wasn't about to pay the $40+ price tag, plus another $10+ for a frame.  Luckily enough I found this tutorial on how to make my own for half the cost of buying one!

And, what great discoveries you've been able to make with Jack! I'm so glad that all your new tricks are paying off so well. Great things to learn for the rest of us too!
