We had a fun FHE about being thankful and counting our blessing that I want to remember. First, we talked about what being thankful means and to always to try to be grateful and remember that all our blessing come from Heavenly Father. We wrote down some things we are thankful for and put them on our thankful tree. Some of my favorites: Disneyworld, talents, baba (Owen), grandparents, sports, Ivy, good food. After that we used our fingers to paint little leaves on our blessing trees. We named some of our blessings and I reminded the kids that if we have a thankful heart always, we will be happier and more willing to share our blessings with others. We have our thankful tree displayed so that we can see it all month long and be reminded to always be thankful for what we have been given.
