The day before Easter we had a fun little Easter party at my parent's house. We started with a massive Easter egg hunt! My kids are the only grandkids (besides newborn Georgia) so their baskets were overflowing with eggs! My parent's are in a rental house (while they are building their dream home!) that has an acre of land so there was plenty of space to hide Easter eggs and my kids had a blast searching for them.
After the egg hunt we dyed some Easter eggs. This year Jack was finally old enough to really enjoy dying the eggs so it was fun to let him design his own. After dying the eggs we had an amazing meal thanks to my mom and we ended the meal with carrot cake which I thought was the perfect dessert for an Easter meal :) Thanks to my parent's for throwing the perfect Easter party!
