We started off the month of December with a live nativity my parent's neighborhood put together. They go all out with tons of volunteers and amazing animals. It was FREEZING cold but we still managed to have a good time! They kids were so excited to see baby Jesus and walking into a warm barn where Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus were was definitely the highlight.
My cute cousin came out from California and we had a fun time chatting, eating lunch and watching the kids play. Evie is my cousin's daughter and she and Avery were two peas in a pod! They played dress up, tea party, baby dolls, rapunzel and anything girly they could their hands on. Avery was in heaven!
I found a cute pre made ginger bread house at Costco and I knew the kids would love to decorate it! We had a fun time! The kids helped with the frosting and sticking on the little candies (the few that they didn't eat). We definitely have to make this a tradition!

What a darling gingerbread house. Don't you just love the pre built ones? Love your christmas tree too. We use to get ours from my dad's farm until they sold it. :( Now we have the good ol' fake one. Yours makes me want a real one so bad!
