Wedding Week

Holly and Mike were married on December 30th and the whole week was full of wedding festivities. On the 29th they had their wedding dinner at the Joseph Smith building in Salt Lake. It was also the same day as a huge snow storm that made the roads really scary to drive on. After a lot of consideration (and some crying) we decided that it was probably better that we didn't make the drive up to Salt Lake that night. It was pretty hard for me because I had been so excited for this week for months but we really felt like it was too dangerous to make the drive. From what I hear though the dinner was beautiful and they showed their wedding video that I was able to watch at the reception.

The next morning was her wedding ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple. Luckily the roads had cleared up a little bit and it wasn't snowing so we made the drive up pretty easily. The ceremony was beautiful and they looked so happy.

Avery and Jack waiting in the Salt Lake temple.

I took Avery on a walk around the temple grounds while we were waiting for Holly and Mike to get dressed. It was a very short walk because it was FREEZING outside! Here she is waving to my aunt and uncle inside the temple.

I couldn't stop taking pictures of her because she looked so cute in her bright coat!

And here they come!

They looked so cute and happy.

We took a few pictures but it was just too cold to stay out there for long. Holly and Mike even decided to go back another day and take pictures of just the two of them.

The reception was held at Thanksgiving Point and everything turned out beautifully.

My camera doesn't do the centerpieces justice! They were beautiful. The colors where grey, cream and coral.

All of the nieces wore this cute grey skirt and cream sweater. I swear Mike has like 20 nieces and nephews so there were a lot of little kids running around.

Here is one of the only pictures of Jack and Avery together...in the elevator. The kids were all over the place so half way through Landon was nice enough to take them home so I could actually enjoy myself.
