California Trip Days 1 and 2 (Swimming and Crescent Bay)

Our long awaited Disneyland trip was finally here! I don't who was more excited. The kids or me! We are huge Disneyland fans! Our flight to Long Beach Airport went as smooth as it could (with four kids in tow...) It was Owen's first time flying and he loved it! We flew into Long Beach and it was HOT. We welcomed the heat with open arms though. My dream has been to stay at the Grand Californian Hotel and this trip we made it a reality. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and very grand. As soon as we checked in we all headed to the pool. The pool was incredible. There were multiple slides and large hot tubs. The lounge seats were so comfy and I loved just laying out watching my crew swim to their hearts content! After swimming we ordered room service and lounged around in our new Disney pajamas. The next day was supposed to be 108 degrees yikes! We opted not to go to the park and instead hit the beach. We found our new favorite beach. It's called crescent bay beach and it is dreamy. It was a small beach but it wasn't crowded at all. It was beautiful and the waves weren't too crazy for my kids to play in. The little boys loved digging in the sand and there were nice clean bathrooms to use. We spent hours there and my kids could have stayed for hours more. Days like this day make me wonder why we live in Utah haha! We were made to live by the beach. We ended the day with Ruby's shakes and more swimming at the hotel.
