We thought it would be fun to go and walk around Lambert Park and see the poppies that bloom in mid June. We picked the hottest day of the summer to go but the poppies were beautiful! We invited my brother Scott along and he helped with the little two boys. They love Scott and he is so good with them. Afterwards we cooled off with some homemade key lime pie ice cream sandwiches. Maybe my new favorite dessert!
