After the two babies woke up from their naps we headed over to the splash park. It was so so hot and everyone was too lethargic to even play so we didn't stay long. We got home and started our bbq. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and just lounged around all night. My parent's were out of town but my brother Scott was home so we invited him over for the bbq. My kids loved jumping on the tramp and playing croquet with him. Some of my favorite times are just playing out in the backyard with the kids. We had razzleberry pie and ice cream for dessert as we waited outside for it to get dark. I bought a projector so that we can watch movies outside and we were so excited for it to get dark so that we could start watching our movie. As we were setting everything up fireworks started going off around us and the kids could not handle it! Avery was actually pretty sick with a fever and the loud noises were making her head hurt so bad! They ended up watching a movie inside while Landon and I watched Shark Tank on the projector outside haha! So much for buying a projector screen just so that we could use it on the fourth! I should have known that was going to happen though. Silly kids and their fear of fireworks!
