We love driving up AF canyon and finding a spot to make a fire and roast dogs and marshmallows. We found the best picnic area this time around! It might be our go to spot! It had a little pool and a big spot to set up our tent. Jack was pretty sick with a high fever and stayed in the tent most of the time (even though you can't tell from these pictures...) and Owen burned his hand on one of the roasting sticks so.....we didn't stay super long. We ended the day by driving up to the lake and letting the kids play around for a while. Funny side story. Miles wanted to get in the water but we had left his swimming suit in the car so Landon took him back up to the car to get it. He then decided to move the car closer to where we were playing in the water. He ended up turning around right in front of a police officer who pulled him over and gave him a ticket for an expired registration. He was taking a really long time to get back down to the lake and I was so confused! I couldn't see the police car parked right behind him. Our trip up the canyon was one for the books! Haha!
