This trip was AMAZING! We really needed some r and r and I am so happy with how everything turned out. First let's start with the house we stayed at...everything about it was PERFECT! It had a pool, hot tub, putting green, basketball hoop, a backyard patio with a grill, a huge big screen tv, three big bedrooms (one with bunk beds for the two older kids) and the perfect kitchen with everything we needed. It was nested right against the red rock and it was very private which I thought was soooo nice!
The drive down went fairly well. The two little boys did awesome and Miles only had to stop and use the bathroom twice. The last half an hour Owen was done but when we got to the house he was as happy as can be! Landon unloaded the car and then headed to the grocery store. He came back a little while later with a ton of yummy food and Brick Oven pizza and root beer for dinner! We were all starving so it totally hit the spot! We were all in our swim suits and loved lounging by the pool eating dinner and hot tubbing. This is when I knew that this was my kind of living haha! We all went to bed pretty late but luckily everyone slept so well.
We did A LOT of swimming the next day! My two big kids LOVE to swim so first thing in the morning they jumped in the pool and then swim until about 2 or 3 when we headed out to the Children's museum and splash pad. After we came home they got right back in the pool!
