Jam packed October

October has been such a fun jam packed month!  Halloween has turned into one of my favorite holidays!

We of course squeezed in some time to make and decorate sugar cookies...my kitchen looked like a bomb shell went off!  I was cleaning for hours after we finished...

We finally finished updating our master bedroom.  We painted (which you can't really tell..) We went from a stark white to an off white (haha). I love the color though!  It is much more soothing then a stark white!  We also got new carpet in all the bedrooms which I love!

The kids had their Primary Program...they did so awesome!  My mom, dad, Ty, Scott and Mary Alice came to watch!

Jack started his first basketball season!  He loves it! He is playing with a bunch of 1st graders but you would never be able to tell!  His games are being played at Mt. Ridge Jr. High the same Jr. High Landon and I went to!  It has come full circle and it is kinda weird...

I just love this picture...we have loved spending time at my parent's work site were they are building their new house!  They are so close to being done!

Here is a picture of the house in progress...

Jack's elementary school puts on a fun pumpkin walk.  All the kids in the school get to decorate a pumpkin and display it for the community to see.

We also had a fun little Halloween party with the Taylor's!  We had yummy chili, rolls, muffins, and caramel apple cider.  We played a few Halloween games and ended the night with pumpkin trifle!

We had to carve pumpkins...Landon and Jack carved the zombie coming out of the grave yard and Avery and I carved the witch on her broom!  We had a fun time doing it!

Love this cute boy and his Halloween pajamas!  (another picture of the new carpet)

We moved Miles from his little bath to the big bath.  The kids loved being able to take a bath with him!

Jack and Avery had fun Halloween parties with their classes and Jack also had a Halloween parade.

Of course we went trick or treating and had so much fun!  Holly and Mike came over and we got to see cute Georgia in her costume!  (Another Halloween post to come...)

Ending the night with their Halloween jammies!

Such cute kids! So fun to see your parents house. When we left the basement was just being poured. It was fun being in the same ward as your cute mom for a few months. Miss that good ol' Alpine.

So glad you were all able to go see Aladdin! It really was so cute wasn't it?

And Miles... he's growing up so fast and is so stinkin' cute! Love catching up on your blog!
