Our garden

My sister in law is in charge of a stake community garden in Pleasant Grove (same stake that our condo is in). We thought it would be fun to take a few plots and plant a little garden. We planted a little late around the beginning of June but we already have had a ton of produce! We planted 3 different kinds of tomatoes, yellow squash, acorn squash, red, yellow, and green peppers, watermelon, cucumbers and pumpkins. I go and check on the garden at least twice a week and it has been so fun to see the progress! The pumpkins and cucumbers are taking over everything and those are the two things that started out as seeds. Everything else we had little starters that were already 3 or 4 inches tall.

Avery picked the one and only tomato that is ripe so far . Right after I took this picture she plopped it in her mouth then immediately spit it out...
