Easter 2017

We had a magical Easter this year. We woke up to our yard covered, I mean completely covered in easter eggs! I am now convinced the Easter bunny is real! They kids were in awe and so were Landon and I. We have 9 o'clock church so we let the kids find a few eggs before we left for church but we left most of the eggs until after church. When we came home the kids found their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny and then filled their buckets to the brim with the rest of the Easter eggs. We dyed Easter eggs and then walked to the cemetery and took flowers to grandma Sue's grave.   I swear she was there with us and if you look closely at the pictures you can see a bright sun ray shining down on her grave. It was pretty special visiting her grave on Easter because we know we will see her again someday.  After we came home from the cemetery we had a fun Easter lesson using resurrection eggs. The kids were really interested in learning about the atonement and resurrection and Avery could almost tell us the whole story because she has awesome primary teachers who taught her the story. It is a tradition I hope to carry on year after year.
