We had our annual back to school feast. I love making it elegant and special. This year I chose yellow and white as a color scheme and I loved how everything turned out. Landon chose our theme for the year and I just love what he picked.
2 Timothy 1:7
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
We talked about how the kids can be leaders and lead others to do good. We focused on being kind and looking for kids who might need a friend. We challenged the kids to memorize the scripture. We talked about getting our daily jobs done in the mornings before school and how we are going to have family scripture study in the mornings. They are excited to start school and I am excited to have some alone time with Owen for a few hours.
