Jack turns 7!

Jack had an awesome friends birthday party this year! He invited 9 friends from our neighborhood and they played laser tag and bowling and had pizza and cake.  It was the perfect party!  Everything was taken care of so it was super stress free for me which I loved!

My dad and Mary came to help out so Avery got to hang out with Mary while the boys were bowling. My mom stayed home with Miles and Owen so we were lucky to have a lot of help from my family!

Such a good group of boys!

It was such a fun day for Jack and he deserved every minute of it!

A little bit about Jack right now:
He loves school!  He is also one smart cookie...he is reading way above grade level and has maxed out the math that he is supposed to do in first grade.  He catches on to things really quick which will be such a blessing in his life! He is very self motivated and gets his homework done and reads for hours almost every day.  He has finished almost all of the Magic Tree House books and just recently finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. His teacher is so complimentary of him and just loves him!  She says he would answer every question if she let him.

He is playing soccer and baseball right now and just finished playing basketball on a 3rd grade super league team.  He is also taking piano lessons and practices for 15 minutes everyday.  He is one busy guy (and so is his mama driving him everywhere!) but he really thrives on being busy so I am happy to take him wherever he needs to go!

He LOVES games of every kind! Every Sunday we visit my parent's and every Sunday Jack gets out all their fun games and plays with them.  He is actually really fun to play with because he is pretty good at most of the games.  Some of his favorites are Apples to Apples, Wits and Wagers, Uno, Zingo, Lunch Munch, and a bunch of other fun ones!

He loves food!  He almost always loves what I make for dinner and he is always so sweet to tell me how much he loves what he is eating!  I love cooking for him! One thing that he doesn't like though is chocolate chips! When I make chocolate chip cookies I have to reserve some of the dough and put white chocolate chips in for him because he won't eat the ones with chocolate chips...crazy boy!
