4th of July

Our 4th of July was pretty low key this year. We took our annual front porch 4th of July pics and this year we had Sadie so it was extra special.  We lit off a few smoke bombs and then headed to snoasis for snow cones. Later that day we went to Cowabungabay, which is kinda becoming a tradition and had a great time soaking up the sun and swimming to our heart's content.  The big kids took Sadie down a few slides and she was loving it. Fifth child perks.  We came home and had flag cake and this year I made a special jello flag cake. Inside the cake, there were swirls of red jello (it sounds gross but is sooooo good and my kids favorite cake) and the cake was topped with strawberries and blueberries. So yummy. We ended the night with fireworks. The neighbors were doing some pretty awesome fireworks and Miles and Jack were brave enough to sit out and enjoy them with Landon and I. Avery and Owen are getting braver but still not quite ready to sit outside while the fireworks are going off haha. Maybe next year...
