I remember making homemade suckers with my mom growing up. Thanks to the good old internet I was able to find all the supplies we needed to make our own homemade suckers. The kids loved it! They chose their own colors and flavors and the poured the hot syrup into the molds. They actually tasted really good!
We finally had a really good snowstorm over night and and of course first thing in the morning, the kids were dressed in their snow gear and playing outside in the snow. They loved eating the snow and making snow angels. They came into warm waffles and whipped cream and a cup of hot chocolate. Snow days are cozy when warm hot chocolate is waiting for you inside.
