A little recap of our Memorial Day.
Landon and I had just bought new bikes so we thought it would be fun to go on a family bike ride down the new Murdock Canal Trail. We packed our bikes up and stopped at a little pavilion behind Lone Peak, had a picnic lunch and then headed down the trail. We rode a good four or five miles down the trail and the kids did pretty good (we took pit stops like every five minutes...so it was a slow ride). We had a little seat for Miles and he was a trooper! We had suckers and licorice for reinforcement so it helped him with the long ride. It was super relaxing and the scenery was beautiful! It has been one of my dreams to go on family bike rides so I was loving every minute of it! I was so proud of my kids for riding that long way with (minimal) complaining :)
After our bike ride we brought Miles back for a nap and then got out the slip n' slide for the big kids.
Later that night we went and visited mama Sue's grave.
We ended the night with a barbecue at my parent's (while they were out of town...ooops) with some of my siblings. It was a perfect day!
