My cute boy will be 4 in just one week! Here are a few things about Jack right now:
-He ages really well :) As soon as he hit 3 1/2 he became the easiest child! He just keeps getting easier the older he gets. He listens to Landon and I and follows directions. He doesn't have as many meltdowns when things don't go his way. He is so good to Avery and watches out for her all the time. He still has his crazy energy that was really hard to manage when he was younger but he is able to use that energy in many different, productive and good ways now. Instead of running around all over the place he can sit still longer and focus on what is going on. I love that he is getting older!
-He is a smarty pants. He has always had a fascination with letters and now he is reading and spelling things I didn't even know he knew! He loves writing words and letters and his handwriting is getting really good. He loves preschool and it has been such a good thing for him! One of his favorite things to play is preschool and we have to do it exactly like his preschool teacher does :) I get to help out in preschool once a month and it is so funny to watch him because he is so enthusiastic about everything. He answers almost every question and listens very intently. He is very polite and always remembers to say thank you to Miss Gretel. He has to do everything perfectly which I hope he continues through the rest of his school career.
-He is all boy! He loves sports! He is the perfect son for Landon to have because he loves going to Jazz games, and football games, and basketball games. His true love is definitely basketball and he loves to play with the (older) neighborhood kids who can't believe he is only 3 because of his awesome basketball skills :) Somedays he will play basketball for hours non stop.
-He loves primary! He is now a sunbeam (which I have yet to document because we have church at 9 and getting a picture before church starts is really hard!). He loves singing time and his teachers are really impressed with how fast he is learning the songs. He still doesn't get that he needs to raise his hand instead of answering every question they ask which is pretty funny to the adults in primary.
-He loves milk! He prefers milk to candy! He has like 6-7 sippy cups of milk a day. I figure his bones are going to be really strong when he is playing college basketball in 15 years :)
-He is a really good eater. He eats almost everything I put on his plate and he isn't very picky. He loves celery and broccoli, carrots and corn. He will eat any veggie if he can dip it in ranch. It is so nice not to worry about his eating because Miss Aves is a horrible eater and we are always trying to get her to eat her food at every meal!
-He loves life! He is so enthusiastic about everything we are doing. I love this about him because he is rarely moody and he is always nice to everyone. He is naturally positive and sees the good in everything.
Oh wow, so much for a "few' things about Jack. We love this boy so much!
